This year, as part of the Art Moves Workshop, workshops for children and teenagers were held in the city space of Toruń (the Monastery Gate). Galeria Rusz prepared activities entitled “What should we value? / What should we appreciate?” The children actively participated in the workshops and wrote down or drew things they value and appreciate on special chests with treasures. They created a beautiful colourful picture, full of wise and inspiring words.
The artistic event entitled “What should we value? / What should we appreciate?” accompanied the opening of the festival. We invited the participants of the exhibition and all the inhabitants of Toruń to think and write down their answers to the question: “What should we value? / What should we appreciate?” The inhabitants of Toruń took an active part in this action and wrote down their answers on a special billboard. Their answers were very diverse and interesting. It turned out that the participants are able to appreciate even the smallest things that make them happy, e.g. daily coffee, every day, calmness, peace and safety, good people, a child’s smile and many more.
